Any volunteer member can form a “Work Group” by simply sending a request to the Board of Directors with a project proposal.  The Work Group can be made up of only one person or an unlimited number of persons. Once the Board approves the project, the Work Group receives “official” status under the Quipunet name. Each Work Group decides how to collect their own funds, either by fund-raising dinners, picnic events, raffles, direct requests for donations, or other viable methods.  All monies raised is then used for their project with Quipunet acting as a transfer agent and fund manager. In order to make our yearly financial report, all money raised as well as any expenses should be reported to the Treasurer.

The basic idea behind this concept is that any single individual CAN make a difference by getting together with other people of similar ideals and forming Work Groups with them. Together and working as a team, the Work Group can successfully take on any project that gives them the most satisfaction.  With an “official” status, the Work Group then works as representatives of Quipunet.
